Enjoy the nature and birdsong in the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s Winnall Moors Nature Reserve. \nJoin one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour\, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. \nThis companion tour to The Lockburn on 25th July and Hidden Waterways on 15th August focuses on the River Itchen northwards from the city centre\, exploring the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s Winnall Moors Nature Reserve. Find out where the elephants used to bathe\, learn about the lost Durngate Mill and experience the spring birdlife and nature in the reserve. This walk finishes opposite the Willow Tree pub. Please wear sensible footwear. \nTickets are £12 for adults\, £5 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre subject to availability. Tickets may be bought for the evening tour prior to the start with cash only from the guide\, if still available.
