Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 60 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.

Explore ancient lanes, hear exciting accounts, and discover how people lived long ago. From the Romans and King Alfred the Great to everyday peasants, Winchester’s streets come alive through stories, questions and surprises along the way. Perfect for curious young minds and families. This gentle adventure makes learning enjoyable, memorable, and will fuel the imagination. Led by a friendly guide who loves sharing Winchester’s history and legends in a fun way. For children aged 7 years and over along with their grown-ups.

Tickets are £8 for adults, £3 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre subject to availability.
