From the mid-1100s until 1290, a vibrant Jewish community lived here, later expelled from England. Forgotten for centuries, their legacy and the story of the Jewish community has now been brought to light. Hear about two remarkable Jewish families led by female moneylenders and explore their lives in the medieval city. The walk includes Winchester Cathedral, the Great Hall and Licoricia’s statue in Jewry Street.
Tickets are £12 for adults, £5 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre subject to availability.
