The tour follows sites and the history of the city in chronological order, making each stop relevant to the past and present. "I was organising a weekend reunion for University friends to mark the 60th anniversary of our first meeting and was allocated Diane by the Tourist office to lead a four hour private city tour. Diane was superb. She had a lovely blend of historical knowledge and human stories which brought the experience alive- and done with humour and sensitivity to the wishes of the group. "My guide Jelena was very knowledgable. The walk around Winchester lasted 90 min. It was at a nice pace. I doubt that I would have discovered all the lovely places I saw by myself. "The Winchester Guided Walking Tours were the highlight of our visit to England. We took the Lower & Upper Winchester Guided Walking Tours which were very worthwhile.
